Politically-minded PRAH Recordings outputs Pozi have shared an arresting new single in 'Detainer Man'. Considering, “This song is written from the perspective of a brainwashed police officer, preprogrammed to inflict abuse upon a person not conforming to the system. Robotic self orders instruct the officer to detain people,” it's mildly amusing that this might be their most accessible tune yet. Dishing out a good deal of brainwashing themselves, an addictive chorus (or maybe slap delay)-steeped bass line provides an irresistible hook, whilst siren-like strings wail and precisely-delivered drums provide a sense of pace that feels like you're being chased. Taken from a new EP, titled Typing (due to arrive on the 29th of October), 'Detainer Man' comes accompanied by an equally entertaining video by director and animator Dylan Copeland, who comments: "'Detainer Man' is about the ghosts of police officers taking revenge on society by rising from the dead to wreak havoc on Dystopia..."
